This classic contemporary small town garden features a minimalist central canal that runs in perfect alignment with the central view from inside the living room. It has a sheer stainless steel face with a rectangular outlet to allow the water to flow in a sheet down the wall. The garden is dominated by sleek Limestone paving and matched in colour by smooth rendered walls to give a very tranquil calming feel. A Balau hardwood corner bench gives a modern approach to garden seating and is backed by an evergreen wall of black bamboo. Stylish stainless steel LED lighting in neon blue has been set flush into the limestone paving to give a nice contrast to an otherwise white garden. Various spike mounted spotlights provide uplighting for the plants and can be dimmed to suit the mood. The canal and water wall are also lit to provide drama at night. The planting is fairly minimal but evergreen to give year round interest and includes a backdrop of black bamboo to the left and rear of water feature, Fatsia japonicas, Astelia chatamica 'silver spear', the jet black grass Ophiopogens and various evergreen ferns.
